Date of Meeting: Tuesday 1/9/24 Venue: OSTA - Conference Room Time: 5:30pm to 6:30pm Call to Order/Open Meeting: Approval of minutes: Citizens to be heard: OSTA Assistant Director Report (Greg): Cleaning/organizing of the garages Cleaning of area next to connex Cutting of drill pipe fence at archery site Surplus sale update OSTA Director Report (Angie): 2024 Budget updates Hiring of new Maintenance Technician - Trinity (Trin) Norton Maintenance Technician - out on FMLA until March 4th Planning of 2024 Grand County Fair Talk about projects that are going to need to take place before playground/pickleball construction Events: December Recap - Local open ride, D's Adventures (every Saturday), Grand County Drill Team practice (Every Friday), Indoor Soccer. January - Local open ride, D's Adventures (every Saturday), Grand County Drill Team practice (Every Friday), Indoor Soccer, PRCA Queen practice, PRCA Queen Clinic, 4-H Horsemanship program, PRCA meeting, TRUST Harassment & Stop the bleed training. Not to be forgotten, will discuss when updates are available: World Trail (need design+ sponsors / donation) Trail to be formalized by arena staff by adding reject gravel +Horse Obstacle Course Outdoor Arena - Maintenance and construction upgrade stage 1 of 3 (1 arena, 2 roping chutes & steer run, 3 Cover over arena, lights, bleachers, announcer's booth, wind breaks, and bucking chutes) Implement Shed- Convention/Expo Hall- OSTA Development Master Plan- OSTA Emergency Operating Plan (EOP)- Board Member Reports: Kathy- Rex- Patrick- Bob- Krista- Jennifer- Mike- New Business: OPMA Training for 2024, By-Laws (If available), 2024 Meeting schedule (second Tuesday of every month at 5:30pm).
