EAGLE MOUNTAIN CITY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS The Eagle Mountain City Council will hold public hearings on January 16, 2024, at 7:00 PM or as soon thereafter as business allows, in the Eagle Mountain City Council Chambers, 1650 E Stagecoach Run, Eagle Mountain, Utah 84005. The City Council will receive public comments concerning the following items: - Recorded Plat Amendment: City Council review and approval of a proposed recorded plat amendment of City Center Commercial Phase A Plat 1 Lot 1 (Utah County Assessor No. 65:509:0001 -- also addressed as 1308 E. Eagle Mountain Boulevard), dividing the lot into two separate lots. Eagle Mountain Point of Contact: Steven Lehmitz slehmitz@emcity.org - City Center Commercial Phase A Plat 1 Rezone: City Council review and approval of a proposed rezone of City Center Commercial Phase A Plat 1 Lot 1 (Utah County Assessor No. 65:509:0001 -- also addressed as 1308 E. Eagle Mountain Boulevard), from Commercial C-1 to Commercial Community. Eagle Mountain Point of Contact: Steven Lehmitz slehmitz@emcity.org - Amendment to Eagle Mountain Municipal Code 16.20.050: Amending City code to conform to state code requirements regarding the review time of a preliminary plat containing single-family, two-family, or townhomes lots or units. Eagle Mountain Point of Contact: David Stroud dstroud@emcity.org - Amendment to Eagle Mountain Municipal Code 17.70.030: The proposed ordinance amends EMMC 17.70.030, modifying the standards for accessory dwelling units relative to garages and parking. This is brought forward to ensure compliance with SB174 (2023). Eagle Mountain Point of Contact: Brandon Larsen blarsen@emcity.org - Amendment to Eagle Mountain Municipal Code Title 17: The proposed code changes would increase the total height hotels can build up to a maximum of 60 feet or four stories, whichever is less. The changes would also modify the parking requirements to require one stall per sleeping unit and additional stalls based on other factors as applicable. Eagle Mountain Point of Contact: Evan Berrett eberrett@emcity.org - Amendment to Eagle Mountain Municipal Code Title 16 - Residential Water Rights Requirements: This proposed ordinance amends Table 16.35.130(a) Residential Water Rights Requirements.
