TOWN OF MANILA PLANNING AND ZONING REGULAR MEETING AGENDA DATE: MONDAY, JANUARY 8TH, 2024 @ 5:30 P.M. AT THE TOWN OFFICE LOCATED AT 145 EAST HWY 43 PLANNING AND ZONING WORK SESSION FOLLOWING IMMEDIATELY AFTER REGULAR MEETING. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER: REGULAR MEETING. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: PRESENT: EXCUSED: GUESTS: MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: NOVEMBER 13TH, 2023 OLD BUSINESS: - Report-from Building Inspector. NEW BUSINESS: - Jeremy Barker - Is presenting a concept proposal for The Pinnacles. This development shall be located at what was formally known as the Vacation Inn. No approvals shall be granted at this time, it is just a discussion on the condominium project. - Jana Franz - Is requesting a building permit for multiple sheds to be constructed for the purpose of various store fronts and workshops to be located on lot 18 of the East Ridge Subdivision. - Robyn Cash - Is requesting approval and a business license for a short-term rental located at 345 N. & 1st E. SCHEDULING THE NEXT MEETING AND ADJOURNMENT. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER: WORK SESSION PRESENT: GUESTS: NEW BUSINESS: - Welcome new members - Discuss terms of the Commissioners. - Vote on new officials, this will be finalized in the next regular meeting. - Updates for the new ordinance book. - Discussion on a possible phased approval.
