DOCUMENT 00 11 13 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR 300 WEST WATERLINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT Sealed Bids for the construction of the 300 West Waterline Replacement Project will be received by Washington Terrace City, at the City Office, 5249 South 400 East, Washington Terrace, UT, until 3:15 PM local time on January 16, 2024, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of abandoning an existing 6' water line and install a new 10' C900 PVC water main. Work will include approximately 1,200 lf of 10' C900, new 10' water valves, service reconnection & looping, and new fire hydrant assemblies and is generally located along 300 West, between 4800 South and 5000 South. The project has an Engineer's Estimate of $503,415. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. All documents listed in paragraph 7.01 of the Bid Form must be submitted. No pre-bid conference will be held. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Jones & Associates Consulting Engineers, 6080 Fashion Point Drive, South Ogden, Utah, (801) 476-9767. Questions related to the Bidding Documents are to be submitted in writing to Shane Taggart, shane@jonescivil.com, no later than 5:00PM on January 11, 2024. Bidding Documents may be viewed and purchased online at www.jonescivil.com. Following registration and payment of $20.00, complete sets of Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the Issuing Office's website as portable document format (PDF) files. Upon request, a printed copy of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office for $40 per copy. Costs related to obtaining Bidding Documents are non-refundable. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bids will be accepted only from Bidders prequalified by the Owner.
