NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED SURCHARGE FEES AND WASTEWATER USER FEE INCREASE
The Board of Trustees of the Snyderville Basin Water Reclamation District will hold a public hearing on January 22, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. for the purpose of hearing comments on proposed Surcharge Fees for industrial users consisting of $0.38/lb. BOD and $0.30/lb. TSS beginning February 1, 2024, and an increase of the monthly Wastewater Volume Charge beginning January 1, 2025 from $3.18 per 1,000 gallons to $3.31 per 1,000 gallons and Wastewater Service Charge from $33.43 to $34.77 per month.
A copy of the proposed resolution adopting the increased fees will be available for public inspection at the District office at least fourteen (14) days prior to the date of the public hearing. The increase in fees is proposed in order to fund the upgrade and operation and maintenance of the East Canyon and Silver Creek Water Reclamation Facilities; to increase renewal and replacement of the collection system; and to meet the ongoing obligations of the District. Comments will be received at a public hearing on the proposed fee increase to be held on January 22, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. before the Board of Trustees at the District's office located at 2800 Homestead Road, Park City, Utah.
