The Smithfield City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at the City Office Building located at 96 South Main, Smithfield, Utah no sooner than 6:45 P.M. The Public Hearing is for the purpose of discussing Ordinance 24-03, an Ordinance amending the Smithfield City Municipal Code Title 8 'Health and Safety', Chapter 8.20 'Garbage Collection and Disposal', Section 8.20.050 'Service Charges', Title 13 'Public Services', Chapter 13.04 'Water Service System', Section 13.04.080 'Rates and Connection Fees', and Chapter 13.16 'Sewer Service System', Section 13.16.050 'Establishment of Fees'.
