Notice is hereby given that the Draper City Council will hold a public hearing in order to receive public comment as a part of their review of a municipal boundary adjustment with Bluffdale City.
Application Name: Draper City- Bluffdale City Common Boundary Adjustment
Location: Approximately 600 W 14600 S, Draper
Size: Approximately 0.889 acres
Request: The request is to adjust the common boundary between Draper City and Bluffdale City in order to remove approximately 0.889 acres from Draper City and add it to Bluffdale City.
Resolution: Draper City adopted Resolution No. 23-62 on October 17, 2023, indicating the City's intent to adjust the municipal boundary with Bluffdale City.
If you have any relevant comments or concerns, the City Council will be taking public comment during their meeting on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. This meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. There are several ways to participate in this meeting:
1. Attend the meeting in person at Draper City Hall, located at 1020 East Pioneer Road, in the City Council Chambers.
2. Listen through our website: https://www.draperutah.gov/95/Agendas-Minutes.
3. Email your written comments to Bret Millburn at bret.millburn@draperuah.gov. Please submit written comments by noon on the day of the meeting.
The City Council will make a decision on the request and may approve it subject to receiving written protest at or before the public hearing from property owners within the proposed adjustment area if that property owner's property:
1. Is located within the area proposed for adjustment;
2. Covers at least 25% of the total private land area within the area proposed for adjustment, and
3. Is equal in value to at least 15% of the value of all private real property within the area proposed for adjustment.
