VINEYARD CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING FOR PROPOSED ACQUISITION AND DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY December 12, 2023 Pursuant to Utah Code Ann. § 10-8-2, notice is hereby given that Vineyard City will hold a public hearing before the City Council to receive public comment on the property located on or near The Promenade Area of the Downtown Vineyard District (Phase 3 Parcel B), more particularly described as follows: Legal Description: A PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED IN THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP 6 SOUTH, RANGE 2 EAST, SALT LAKE BASE & MERIDIAN, VINEYARD CITY, UTAH, SAID PROPERTY BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOW: COMMENCING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SAID SECTION 7; THENCE NORTH A DISTANCE OF 3201.53 FEET; THENCE WEST A DISTANCE OF 1566.27 FEET TO THE REAL POINT OF BEGINNING. THENCE S. 05°25'57' E. A DISTANCE OF 235.31 FEET; THENCE S. 84°34'03' W. A DISTANCE OF 54.38 FEET; THENCE NORTHWESTERLY ALONG THE ARC OF A 350.00 FOOT RADIUS CURVE TO THE RIGHT A DISTANCE OF 251.09 FEET, CHORD THAT BEARS N. 74°52'48' W. A DISTANCE OF 245.74 FEET; THENCE N. 54°19'40' W. A DISTANCE OF 42.31 FEET; THENCE NORTHWESTERLY ALONG THE ARC OF A 170.00 FOOT RADIUS CURVE TO THE LEFT A DISTANCE OF 129.69 FEET, CHORD THAT BEARS N. 76°10'59' W. A DISTANCE OF 126.57 FEET; THENCE NORTHERLY ALONG THE ARC OF A 883.40 FOOT RADIUS CURVE TO THE RIGHT A DISTANCE OF 112.11 FEET, CHORD THAT BEARS N. 09°18'04' W. A DISTANCE OF 112.03 FEET; THENCE N. 88°43'52' E. A DISTANCE OF 444.59 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. CONTAINING 1.92 ACRES MORE OR LESS. The purpose is to consider the proposed acquisition and disposition of property for a public aquatics facility that will be located on the property. The hearing will be held in the Council Chambers at Vineyard City Hall, 125 South Main Street, Vineyard, UT 84059, on Wednesday December 27, 2023 at 6:00 pm. The public is invited to attend in person.
