SOUTH DAVIS WATER DISTRICT BOARD MEETING
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 13TH, 2023
6:00 P.M.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the South Davis Water District will hold its regular Board Meeting at the District Office located at 407 W. 3100 S., Bountiful, Utah, at the time given above. The Public is invited to attend this meeting.

This meeting may be held as an electronic meeting with one or more Trustees participating via speaker telephone. The anchor location will be the regular meeting place of the Board of Trustees of the South Davis Water District located at 407 West 3100 South, Bountiful, Utah.
If you are not on the agenda, the Board of Trustees will not be able to discuss your item of business until another meeting. For most items it is desirable for the Board of Trustees to be informed of background information prior to consideration at a Board Meeting. If you wish to have an item placed on the agenda, contact the District Manager at 801-295-4468.
AGENDA
1. Call To Order - Welcome to all those present
2. Consider a motion to approve the minutes of the previous Board meeting that was held on November 8th and the election canvass meeting that was held December 6th.
3. Consider a motion to approve the November 2023 expenses as shown on the expense report.
4. Consider approving the 2024 annual meeting schedule as presented to the Board.
5. Consider a motion to adopt resolution #75 amending the District's 2023 final budget to show an increase in revenue of $108,296 for AARPA monies received, as well as $280,000 for CDBG grant monies received. The amended budget also includes an additional $50,000 to counter potential restocking fees resulting from secondary metering material returns.
6. Open public hearing to discuss 2024 tentative budget. Consider a motion to adopt resolution #76 approving the 2024 tentative budget as the District's 2024 final budget. The single proposed change on the tentative budget is an increase of $40,000 to the capital budget to potentially purchase the backhoe, mini-ex, and loader instead of leasing again. Prices have gone way up on leasing. The GM will explain in further detail.

b. Discuss the potential amendment to SB 251.
c. Update on PFAS testing and lawsuit.

e. A look at the District's forecasted cash flow for 2023.
9. Closed Session:
a. Motion to adjourn to closed session, if necessary, for reasons permitted under UCA 52-4-205.
