2023 General Election
Provo, Utah
On November 21, 2023, Provo City held a General Election for the offices of Council District 1, Council District 3, Council District 4, and Council City-Wide II. Provo City contracted with Utah County to conduct a vote-by-mail election.
Provo City had 43,158 active registered voters. A total of 11,350 ballots were cast, for a voter turnout of 26.30%.
Council District 1
There were 10,194 active registered voters for the Council District 1 position with 3,869 ballots cast for a voter turnout of 37.95%.
Council District 3
There were 9,305 active registered voters for the Council District 3 position with 2,319 ballots cast for a voter turnout of 24.92%.
Council District 4
There were 8,413 active registered voters for the Council District 4 position with 1,922 ballots cast for a voter turnout of 22.85%.
Council City-Wide II
There were 43,158 active registered voters for the Council City-Wide II position with 11,236
ballots cast for a voter turnout of 26.03%.
Candidates elected for office to serve terms of four years, beginning on January 9, 2024 are as follows:
Council District 1: Craig Christensen
Council District 3: Becky Bogdin
Council District 4: Travis Hoban
Council City-Wide II: Gary Garrett
