PUBLIC NOTICE CENTRAL VALLEY TOWN MUNICIPAL ELECTION 2023 GENERAL CANVASS BOARD OF CANVASSERS' REPORT CERTIFICATION AND DECLARATION OF RESULTS The Board of Canvassers, being the Mayor and the Town Council, certify that the Canvassers Report for November 21, 2023, Central Valley Town Municipal General Election for the offices of Town Council. The Election Officer and the Board of Canvassers have reviewed the report detailing the votes cast by the town residents to ensure that it is correct. Office and Term Candidates # of Votes Total Votes Cast (2X) Council Member David S. Nielson 98 210 4- Year Term Susan Staples Outzen 124 210 Joe Reynolds 90 210 Charles Billingsley 65 210 Eligible Registered Voters 414 Ballots Cast 211 Ballots Counted 210 By Mail Ballots Not Accepted 1 * Returned Unsigned 0 * Signatures Did Not Match the Voter Record 1 Declaration of Nomination. Based on the general voting results from November 21, 2023, the Board of Canvassers declare the following candidates, who received the highest number of votes in the General election, have been nominated for offices of Council Member; Serving a 4-year term. Candidates Nominated for Council Member 1. David S. Nielson 2. Susan Staples Outzen The Board of Canvassers for Central Valley Town has prepared a report of the election results for the November 21, 2023, Municipal General Election. A copy of the full report is available for inspection on the Public Notice Website (www.utah.gov/pmn) and in the Central Valley Town Office at 50 West Center Street, Central Valley, Utah, and the Central Valley Town Website, www.centralvalleytownut.com.
