- The City of West Jordan Community Development Department is announcing that approximately $390,000 in Community Development Block Grant funding is available for Program Year 2024. The primary objective of the Community Development Block Grant Program is to provide funds to local programs run by non-profit agencies which meet the goals and priority needs identified in the West Jordan 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan. Proposal applications and information will be available online at zoomgrants.com on January 1, 2024. Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. on January 31, 2024. Applicants submitting eligible applications will be scheduled to present their applications to the CDBG Committee in February. A public hearing which is tentatively scheduled for March 27, 2024, will be conducted by the West Jordan City Council wherein a final decision on funding will be made.
