NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Regular Administrative Control Board Meeting, 2024 Proposed Budget, and Proposed 2024 Fee Schedule Approvals
Solid Waste District, 21 November 2023 - PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Administrative Control Board of the Solid Waste Special Service District #1 (District) dba Canyonlands Solid Waste Authority (CSWA) will hold a Public Hearing beginning at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, during its Regular Board Meeting.
Consistent with provisions of the Utah Open and Public Meetings Act, Utah Code Ann. §54-2-207(4), this will be an Electronic Meeting with the Canyonlands Solid Waste Authority Administrative building as the Anchor Location. The CSWA Administrative building is located at 2295 S Highway 191, Moab, UT 84532.
Electronic participation in the Public Hearing is available via Zoom at: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83344336921?pwd=WDFMTUUyZW1NdmJRZTRoUm0yd0NxUT09. The Regular Board meeting will begin at 5:00 pm.
The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public input on (1) the District's proposed 2024 budget, and (2) the proposed 2024 Fee Schedule amendments. Proposed increases in the District's Fee Schedule are to normalize, clarify, and adjust fee items that reflect the District's associated operating costs and support its enterprise fund. The purpose of the public hearing will be to hear comments regarding the aforementioned items. The updated and proposed 2024 Budget and 2024 Fee Schedules will be available after November 27th, 2023 to download from the District's website here: https://swssd1.org/board-meetings-and-financials/financials/ and at the District office located at 2295 S. Highway 191, Moab, UT 84532
