- NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Public Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing of the Uintah Animal Control and Shelter Special Service District has been scheduled for Friday, December 8, 2023 at 4:45 p.m. in the North Conference Room of the Uintah County Building, 152 East 100 North, Vernal, Utah for the purpose of receiving input regarding the FY 2023 Budget Re-Opener # 2. Budgets to be considered during the Public Hearing will include Animal Control, Shelter, Wages, Animal District Board, the General Fund, Capitol Project Fund and other Special Funds. All interested persons shall be given the opportunity to be heard. Budget documents may be reviewed at the District's Shelter office, 1387 East 335 South, Vernal, Utah 84078. In compliance with the American's with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this hearing should notify Christina Williams at 1387 East 335 South, Vernal, UT 84078. 1-435-781-72 Published in the Vernal Express on November 29th and December 6, 2023
