Town Council Emergency Meeting Pending Minutes for November 1, 2023 An Emergency meeting of the Cleveland Town council was held by text on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 9:21 am. In attendance were: Kristen Vose, Breann Cowley, Chance Thompson, Danae' Jensen, and Mayor Preston Wilson. Item: Forbidden Fruit building furnace went out and needs replacing immediately. Mayor Preston Wilson: Hey everyone the furnace at the Player Shop went out. It's 24 years old. A new one with it being installed and warranty will be $4800. I need a vote to spend the money today. Please get back to me. Thanks. Danae' Jensen: Vote over phone? Mayor Wilson: Yes, a text is fine it would fall under an emergency cost and not for something new. Danae' Jensen: Did you have anyone come look at it and try to fix it? Mayor Wilson: Yes, he is there right now and he has been working on it all morning. And I warned about the pipes over night, He is going to get a space heater. And he is going to go up north and pick it up. Danae' Jensen: If you tried to fix it and they can't, I vote we get a new one. Mayor Wilson: Anyone else? Chance Thompson: I vote yes. Breann Cowley: Yay. Kristen Vose: Yes. All were in favor of spending the money on a new one. Meeting adjourned after last text message at 11:45 am. Nancy Livingston, Clerk
