Cleveland Town Council Meeting November 09, 2023 at 7:00 pm 130 West Main, Cleveland, UT 84518 Call to Order: Opening Flag Ceremony Minutes: Approve October 12 and November 1 Emergency Meeting Minutes Public Comment: Limited to 10 minutes Total Time. This time has been set aside for any person to express ideas, concern, comments, questions, or issues that are not on the agenda. *PLEASE STATE YOUR NAME AND PLACE OF RESIDENCE. *PLEASE LIMIT YOUR COMMENTS TO THREE MINUTES. State Law prohibits the council from acting on items that do not appear on the agenda. In this form of government, all town administrative personnel are under the direction of the mayor, not the council. Please discuss any concerns you may have regarding administrative staff with the mayor. Action Agenda: 1. Approve/Deny the change in the Residential Ordinance for flag lots. 2. Discuss/Set date for Town Christmas Party and/or tree lighting ceremony in December. Should they be separate, same date, or just Town Party? Dates: Saturday Dec 16 or 23, Friday 15 or 22. 3. Approve/Deny expense for office staff to take grant writing and management courses, $495 per class. 4. Approve/Deny spending money to fix Old Town Hall boiler while pursuing grant money for new heating/cooling system. 5. Discuss/Approve yearend bonuses for employees. 6. Review bills for payment. 7. Council Reports. 8. Adjourn Meeting. If there is any portion of the meeting that is closed to the public, the reason must clearly be stated and a roll call vote taken. The next regular Council Meeting will be held on Dec. 14, 2023 at 7:00 pm at the Cleveland Town Office, 130 W. Main, Cleveland, unless otherwise noticed.
