UNIFIED FIRE SERVICE AREA is proposing a one time tax levy to pay for a final and unappealable judgement or order to refund property tax to a taxpayer(s).
The total amount required to be collected to refund the tax is $16,475
- The tax impact on a $562,000 residence will be $0.18 for one year.
- The tax impact on a $562,000 business will be $0.33 for one year.
All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.

To discuss Unified Fire Service Area proposals:
a. Propose a one-time tax levy to pay for a final and unappealable judgement of order to refund property tax to taxpayer(s)
b. Increase property taxes in 2024 by $5,257,309 which is a 12.04% increase. The purpose of the
increase is to continue to appropriately fund the fire service including 4-handed crews, upgrade aging fire stations, and maintain the Board approved minimum fund balance
