WALES TOWN COUNCIL Notice and Agenda Notice is hereby given that the Wales Town Council will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at the Wales Town Hall, which meeting shall begin promptly following the CDBG hearing, at approximately 7:15 PM. Agenda items may or may not be discussed in the order they are listed. The agenda shall be as follows: Meeting call to order Rollcall Pledge of Allegiance Prayer/Inspirational Thought Approval of minutes of regular council meeting held on October 3, 2023 Approval for payment of October 2023 invoices Business & Petitions (items to be voted upon) 1. Discussion of information from Community Development Block Grant-First Public Hearing 2. Discussion of proposed policy 2023-06 to transfer funds from general fund into capital improvement fund if necessary. 3. Discussion to revise Ordinance No. 2021-02 establishing and regulating the Water Department. 4. Discussion of proposal by Milyn Galpin for a town library by to replace bookmobile. 5. Discussion to purchase/install security cameras. Reports of town officers and boards Mayor Byron Davis: 1. Impact fee discussion-at present it is $7,329.04 Water--Council member Brandon Rees; Wendle Roberts 1. Lynn Wall engineering-water study report 2. Grant for water meter replacement 3. Hydro Specialties-water meter replacement Streets--Council member David Larsen 1. Peckham Asphalt-progress on seal-coating streets 2. Discuss how to clean up streets so they can be mowed/plowed-trash, old cars, etc. Cemetery--Council member Ron Thompson Parks--Council member Edward Anderson Fire Dept.--Shawn Robison Administration--Kevin Washburn, Erika Anderson Adjourn: Mayor: Byron L.
