- ***NOTICE*** November 1, 2023 Per state code, two public hearings will be held regarding the 2023 Population Analysis Studies where there will be discussion and a vote on the following recommendations. - A proposed school closure (Western Hills Elementary) with boundary adjustments to Silver Hills and Beehive elementary schools. - A proposed school reopening (Brockbank Junior High) with proposed boundary and feeder pattern adjustments to Elk Run, Copper Hills, Lake Ridge, Magna, Pleasant Green, Wright, Hillside, West Valley, Whittier, Orchard, and Valley Crest (split) elementary schools. The first public hearing will take place at Granite School District Board of Education meeting on November 14, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in Auditorium A of the Granite Education Center, at 2500 South State Street in South Salt Lake City. A second public hearing will be held at Granite School District Board of Education meeting on December 12, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in Auditorium A of the Granite Education Center, at 2500 South State Street in South Salt Lake City.
