Minutes-Mammoth Creek Special Service Fire District DBA - Mammoth Creek Volunteer Fire District (MCVFD) Saturday October 28, 2023- 9 AM MST at the Fire Station. Call to Order: 9:15 AM Paul Martino called the meeting to order. Present: Paul Martino, Carl Radomski, Richard West, Dale Askew, Clayton Carr Others Present: Fire Chief Ensor Review Last Meetings Minutes: Dale Askew presented the minutes from the last meeting and offered an amendment to the minutes updating the purchase price for the Can Am Defender Side-by-Side including tracks. After reviewing the minutes from our previous meeting, Dick West moved for approval with a second from Clay Carr. Motion passed. Financial Reports: Dale Askew reviewed the Budget Worksheet for 2024 by first presenting the Projected Actual Revenues and Expenditures for the entire year of 2023 and comparison to this year's original budget. Secondly, Dale presented the Fire Chief's 2024 budget for revenues and expenditures for the Board's approval. The Board discussed the Capital Outlay budget amount of $81,000 as presented by the Fire Chief. The following amounts were requested as follows: Six AED's totaling $8,500, New replacement Ice machine with a capacity of producing 84 bags of ice each 24 hours of operation $5,000, metal siding for the east side of the main fire station building $10,000, Slide In Unit for the new Defender SxS $4,000, and the remainder amount of $53,500 to be reserved for the Fire District's contribution along with yet to be acquired grant funds to purchase a new Structural Fire Engine with Wildland capabilities. Carl Radomski moved for approval of the reports as presented with a second from Clay Carr. Motion Passed. Board 2024 Meeting Schedule: Saturday, May 25, 2024 12PM (Following MCHOA Annual Meeting on Memorial Day weekend). Sunday, September 1, 2024 9AM (Labor Day weekend) Saturday October 26, 2024-9AM (Public Hearing on the 2025 Budget) All meetings will be held at the Fire Station. Adjourn: 10:45AM
