- Public Notice Invitation to Bid: The City of South Salt Lake will accept bids for the project titled: 2024 Storm Water Projects, until 2:00 p.m. on November 17th, 2023. Bids received after 2:00 p.m. will not be opened. The scope of work for this contract includes the equipment, facilities, services, and appurtenances thereto as included in the contract documents for the replacement and repair of existing manholes, catch basins, and pipe as described in project schedules. All required documents for the bidding process shall be directly submitted to the Utah Public Procurement Place (SciQuest), until 2:00 p.m. on November 17th, 2023. Plans and specifications for the project can be obtained from SciQuest or the Engineer, Chris Merket at cmerket@sslc.gov after 9:00 a.m. on October 23rd, 2023. There will be a mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting for this project on Friday November 3rd at 2 pm. The meeting will be held at South Salt Lake City Hall on the second floor in the Council Room, located at 220 E. Morris Ave., South Salt Lake City, UT 84115. Bids will be opened publicly at 2:00 p.m. on November 17th, 2023, at the South Salt Lake City Hall on the second floor in the Conference Room, located at 220 E. Morris Ave., South Salt Lake City, UT 84115. A 5% Bid Security will be required. The City of South Salt Lake reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid if deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
