DON HODSON is requesting a variance from Section 7-6-202 of the West Valley City Code. This section requires that accessory buildings be located in the rear yard setback for residential properties. Mr. Hodson is asking for a variance of 9 feet to allow a portion of an accessory building to be constructed in the side yard setback. The property is located at 4521 South Orleans Way and is zoned R-1-8 (Single Unit Dwelling Residential, minimum lot size 8,000 square feet).
