Notice is given that the Stockton Town Council will hold a regular meeting as identified below in the Town Council Chambers at the Stockton Town Hall 18 N. Johnson Street, Stockton, Utah. In compliance with the American Disabilities Act, any individual who may need special accommodations including auxiliary communicative and services during this meeting shall notify the Town Clerk at (435) 882-3877 at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. The order of Agenda Items may be changed if deemed appropriate by the Mayor or Town Council. Time limits, if any listed for Agenda items are approximate and may be accelerated or delayed.

4. Public hearing - Vacation of Public Right of Way- roads running parallel. Town wants to build a new shop

6. Ordinance 2023-05 Vacation of Public Right of Way David- motion 2nd Joe ALL APPROVED
7. Public Hearing-Accepting input and comments on New Town Shop- Wants to do a metal building, bid went out Tuesday. Car Lot business will take over old shop. Old shop was not big enough for cities needs. Mesquito abatment services want to go in half with the town Comment-Kent Baker- Cement needs to go first, Don't do the building without cement, Don't sell yourself short, do it all at once.
Was going to be a 40X70 now with the help of the mesquito abatement want it to be 100X40.
Comment- is there enough room to drive through.
What will it look like? Can't sell the gravel, No mining in the Town.
Justin Huffman- most progressive things the group has done. If you're going to build it, build it to turn key ready. Get it done all at once. Smart to work with mesquito abatement. No infrastructure in other lots. Town is limited on funds. Do not want to go in to a lot of debt.
8. Public Hearing - Accepting input and comments on Paving City Streets: Accepting input and comments on Paving City Streets. Not paving, trying to do a chip seal, trying to get $ from county council of govmts. $300000+ A few roads will have to be re paved not just chip sealed, speed bumps possible, on Silver, Grant, rds.

10. Motion to move into executive session All Approved
Plans for new shop combining with mesquito abatement district. 'lease agreement' what happens if they cancel the agreement, opt out? Protects them and us. Do we need a contract? Whos going to pay for what?? Received bids from 200000- 600000$ for new shop?? You get what you pay for, a very big difference between the cheapest and the most expensive.
We either get in with a general contractor or facilitate all the sub contractors our selves. Submitting the prices with the county tomorrow. Present them with all the bids.

11. Reconvene from executive session-Announcement of purpose (s) of closed meeting
Garbage- 200000 to fix garbage truck, sub contracting out garbage service or raise rates, haven't been raised in 18 yrs. Contract with ACE possibly. Looks like a good deal. Dump fees?? New garbage truck 80-300 thousand
Raising garbage can rates. Who pays dump fees?? Raise garbage fees, now a little or raise it to $16 now.
Get a second bid and continue negotiations. Council gives a head nod to continue negotiations.
It is costing town $$ due to increased costs.
