WEST VALLEY CITY PLANNING COMMISSION AGENDA 10/25/2023 at 4:00 p.m. The Public Hearing will be held in person in the City Council Chambers at West Valley City Hall 3600 Constitution Boulevard, West Valley City, UT 84119. A Planning Commission Pre-Meeting will be held the day of the Public Hearing at 3:30 p.m. You can also attend the meeting electronically via Zoom at: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/88955119737 Study Sessin will be held in the CED Conference a week prior to the Public Hearing on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. Preliminary application information will be available here by 6:00 pm on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. Staff analyses, as well as any final application materials, will be available by 12:00 pm on Monday, October 23, 2023. Testimonies for or against the proposed applications can be provided to the Planning Commission during the public hearing or in writing prior to the hearing. If you wish to submit written comments, please be advised that this should be provided to the Planning Staff member assigned to the application at least seven (7) days prior to the meeting to enable the Planning Commission to properly consider the comments. ___Fuller ___Lovato ___McEwen ___Porter ___Winters ___Wood ___Woodruff GENERAL PLAN CHANGE APPLICATIONS GP-2-2023 Petition by WEST VALLEY CITY requesting four changes to the Major Street Plan, which is part of the West Valley City General Plan. These changes include: 1) removing 2400/2365 S between 3200 W and 2700 W, 2) adding 2210 S as a 66' right-of-way between 3200 W and Arnold Way (2940 W), which includes an extension of 2210 S to Arnold Way, 3) adding Arnold Way (2940 W) as a 66' right-of-way between 2100 S and 2210 S, and 4) adding 2180 S as a 66' right-of-way between Arnold Way and 2700 W. The project will consist of 59 units on 5.3 acres, is located at approximately 5718 West 3500 South and is zoned LI (Light Industrial).
