TOWN OF JOSEPH CANVAS MEETING SEPTEMBER 13, 2023 PRESENT: Terry Balch, David & Cheryl Bythway, Troy Campbell, Doug Nowell, Mayor Jared Campbell, Mary Anderson, Tim & Whitney Vandasluis, Nikole Campbell, Haley Obray ABSENT: Mike Jorgensen PRAYER: Doug Nowell PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The UTAH code that is associated with this meeting is 20A.4.304. The town hired the county to handle its election. It is the council's job to certify the results. If there are any disputes or objections, or concerns it's the job of the council to bring them to the table. If not the vote needs to be certified and sent back to the county. Registered Voters Total- 170 Ballots Cast- 81 Voter Turnout- 47.65% JOSEPH COUNCIL MEMBER Vote for 2 ZAC KEARNEY 31 GENE GESTRING 8 TROY CAMPBELL 28 WHITNEY VANDESLUIS 21 TERRY BALCH 51 The 4 people that will be on the November ballot is Terry Balch Zac Kearney Troy Campbell Whitney Vandesluis Marty Motioned to accept the canvas as read Troy & Doug 2nd the motion. Marty Motioned to adjourn the meeting Troy seconded the motion.
