Date of Meeting: Tuesday 10-10-23 Venue: OSTA - Admin Office Time: 5:30pm to 6:30pm Call to Order/Open Meeting: Approval of minutes: September 12, 2023 Citizens to be heard: OSTA Assistant Director Report (Greg): Fall fertilizer program has been applied Applied an additional weed killer (accel) to the fields to help with clover Weed removal and clean up of the north barns in prep for the Barrel Race Added dirt to barns and around barns in prep for the Barrel Race OSTA Director Report (Angie): Culinary Line project update Discussion on 2024 grass seed plans Update on vandalism at the announcer's booth Archery Range update - go over layout Events: for the Next month September - Local open ride, Canyonlands PRCA Rodeo meeting, Softball Practice (Friday Only), Adult League Softball games (Every Monday night), D's Adventures (every Friday), Skate Moab (Fridays & Wednesday), Grand County Drill Team practice (Every Friday), Barrels 4 Bucks, Homecoming Dance, Soccer Practice & Games October - Local open ride, Canyonlands PRCA Rodeo meeting, Softball Practice (Friday Only), Adult League Softball games (Every Monday night), D's Adventures (every Friday), Skate Moab (Fridays & Wednesday), Grand County Drill Team practice (Every Friday), Barrels 4 Bucks, Solihull Society, Red Canyon Pow Wow, Rigging for Rescue, Jeep Jamboree, Field of Screams Softball Tournament, Soccer Practice & Games, Trunk or Treat. Not to be forgotten, will discuss when updates are available: Portable bleachers - Angie to give an update on cost World Trail (need design+ sponsors / donation) Trail to be formalized by arena staff by adding reject gravel +Horse Obstacle Course Outdoor Arena - Maintenance and construction upgrade stage 1 of 3 (1 arena, 2 roping chutes & steer run, 3 Cover over arena, lights, bleachers, announcer's booth, wind breaks, and bucking chutes) Implement Shed Pickle Ball Courts & Playground - Angie has update on Grant. Committee Member Reports: Kathy- Rex- Patrick- Bob- Krista- Mike- Jennifer- New Business: OSTA Development Master Plan Future Agenda items: Review updates to By-Laws, going to County Commission for approval on 10/17/23 - Angie to report on.
