CLINTON CITY / CLEARFIELD CITY / WEBER BASIN WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT 800 NORTH ROADWAY & WATER LINE PROJECT: 450 W TO 1000 W ADVERTISEMENT FOR PREQUALIFICATION Prequalification proposals for the construction of the 800 North Roadway & Water Line Project: 450 W to 1000 W will be received by J-U-B Engineers via email to mcrump@jub.com, or USB flash drive delivered to 466 North 900 West, Kaysville, UT 84037, until 5:00pm, prevailing local time, on October 20, 2023. No late submittals will be considered. The purpose of the prequalification process is to select those contractors the Owner deems to be qualified and capable of completing the project on schedule in conformance with the Contract Documents. Only those firms that are prequalified by the Owner will be allowed to submit a Bid on the Project. Please review the prequalification form for a full tentative project schedule. Contractors will be prequalified for the waterline and street work separately. The 800 North Roadway & Water Line Project: 450 W to 1000 W is a joint Clinton City, Clearfield City, and Weber Basin Water Conservancy District Project. The Project includes the reconstruction of the roadway from 450 West to 1000 West in Clinton and Clearfield, Utah. The project includes the following major components: Installation of approximately 2,000 linear feet of 12' PVC culinary water line (Weber Basin) and 1,600 linear feet of 8' PVC culinary water line (Clearfield City). Installation of two large pressure reducing valve/ meter vaults with related SCADA and electrical connections. Installation of 24' fused solid wall HDPE casing pipe and 16' fused solid wall HDPE carrier pipe underneath the UTA and UPRR tracks at 500 West via horizontal directional drill. Work will include assistance with final applications to UTA and UPRR. Installation of 24' fused solid wall HDPE casing pipe and 16' fused solid wall HDPE carrier pipe underneath the UTA box culvert near 950 West via horizontal directional drill. Work will include assistance with final applications to UTA. Installation of 16' fused solid wall HDPE casing pipe and 10' fused solid wall HDPE carrier pipe underneath the UTA box culvert near 950 West via horizontal directional drill. Work will include assistance with final applications to UTA. Resurfacing of concrete bridge deck, other minor bridge repairs and installation of Type F concrete barrier along bridge. Replacement of curb and gutter, sidewalk, and curb ramps along the roadway. Replacement of asphalt pavement for approximately 0.6 miles of roadway along with other common roadway work.
