- PUBLIC NOTICE GRANGER-HUNTER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT CANCELLATION OF 2023 ELECTION Notice is hereby given that the Granger-Hunter Improvement District has cancelled its election for one member of its board of trustees. Pursuant to resolution No. 09-26-23.1, adopted by the Board of Trustees on September 26, 2023, the following is set forth: WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Granger-Hunter Improvement District ('the District') has provided the required notice of the expiring term of its one trustee; WHEREAS, the appropriate time and notice has been given for all candidates to file, including the appropriate time for any write-in candidate, for the one at-large seat; WHEREAS, the number of candidates for the office of trustee, including eligible write-in candidate, does not exceed the number of the open trustee positions for which the candidates have filed; WHEREAS, there are no other local district ballot propositions; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: 1-The Granger-Hunter Improvement District's 2023 election is hereby cancelled. 2-The remaining trustee candidates are running unopposed. 3-The candidates that are running are considered elected to office whose term starts at noon on January 1, 2024. 4-This Resolution shall take effect upon authorized execution. PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED this 26th day of September, 2023.
