Notice of Interlocal Cooperation Agreements
Pursuant to Utah State Code Sections 11-13-219 and 17C-5-205(2), notice is given, collectively by all the public entities listed, that the Redevelopment Agency of Eagle Mountain City (the 'Agency') entered into Interlocal Cooperation Agreements (the 'Agreements') with Eagle Mountain City (the 'City'), Utah County (the 'County'), Alpine School District (the 'School District), Central Utah Water Conservancy District (the 'Water District'), and the Unified Fire Service Area (the 'Fire District').
The Agreements provide that the City, County, School District, Water District, and Fire District agree to remit to the Agency annually certain property tax increment revenues generated within the Sweetwater Industrial Park Community Reinvestment Area #3 (the 'Project Area') to provide funds to the Agency to carry out the Project Area Plan, beginning in a year to be determined by the Agency. The City, County, School District, Water District, and Fire District have agreed to remit 61% of the annual property tax revenues, and 74% of the annual personal property tax revenues generated within the Project Area for 20 years for each phase, and not to exceed 40 years for all phases.
For a period of 30 days following the date of publication of this notice, copies of the Agreements are available for public inspection and copying at the Agency's place of business located at 1650 E. Stagecoach Run, Eagle Mountain, Utah, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. During the 30-day period, any person in interest may contest one or more of the Agreements or the procedures used to adopt one or more of the Agreements fail to comply with any applicable statutory requirements. After the 30-day period, no person may contest the Agreements for any cause.
