Opening Motions Excused: Brent Bullock, Sheri Britsch, Amanda Rojas Motion to begin meeting: Second: Motion to approve August meeting minutes: Second: Monthly Subcommittee Check-in Reports 1. Conduct subcommittee monthly check-in reports from subcommittee heads: Preservation (Chris Schow) Update on the Old Town Hall restoration project (Laurel) Cemetery condition survey training is 18 October at 11 AM with Amy Barry Archives (Jeanne) No updates Community Outreach (Denise Trickler) Debrief our Heritage Festival activities and tables-book sales, butter churning, PG founders connections, history bus tour. (A post-mortem of the entire Heritage Festival will be held in October with Stacy Martineau.) Any ideas for events this fall and winter? History & Publications (Laurel Cunningham) September historic homeowners' newsletter mailed out on September 5. Currently working on 'By These Hands' reprint book again. Other Business Items 1. Amanda is spearheading the Old Town Hall Christmas display. 2. Our October meeting is the first day of Fall Break. Do we need to reschedule, or will everyone be in town? 3. Discuss officially renaming south end of Pioneer Park 'Rose Garden Park' with new signage. Next PGHPC meeting: Thursday, October 19, 7 PM
