- The Board of Education of the Davis School District will hold a Public Hearing regarding an elementary and junior high school boundary change proposal brought on by the construction of a new elementary school and new junior high school in West Point. The matter will be the only subject of the meeting. Each person wishing to address the board will be allowed a maximum of two minutes. In addition, the proposal calls for closing Fremont Elementary School. - If implemented, all students from Fremont Elementary would be assigned to nearby Sunset Elementary. - Current Sunset elementary students who live north of 1800 North would attend Sunset Elementary. - Current Sunset and Doxey elementary students, who live south of 1800 North, would attend Doxey Elementary. This change would only affect students who currently attend Doxey, Fremont and Sunset elementary schools.
