Public notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of St. George, Washington County, Utah, will hold a regular meeting in the City Council Chambers at the St. George City Offices located at 175 East 200 North, St. George, Utah, on Thursday, September 14, 2023, commencing at 12:00 p.m.

a. Consider approval of amending the Construction Management/General Contractor (CMGC) contract with Big-D Construction for the Parking Structure Site work construction phase.
BACKGROUND and RECOMMENDATION: The CMGC process consists of two phases: design (pre-construction) and construction. Approval of this agreement commits the City to pay for the construction phase of the agreement of the Parking Structure Site work construction phase. Staff recommends approval of amending the contract.
b. Consider approval of amending the Construction Management/General Contractor (CMGC) contract with Big-D Construction for the City Hall Site work construction phase.
BACKGROUND and RECOMMENDATION: The CMGC process consists of two phases: design (pre-construction) and construction. Approval of this agreement commits the City to pay for the construction phase of the agreement of the City Hall Site work construction phase. Staff recommends approval of amending the contract.
c. Consider approval to purchase a Webex Calling subscription in the amount of $58,200 to replace the Call Manager enterprise phone system.
BACKGROUND and RECOMMENDATION: The proposal is to replace our current Cisco Call Manager phone system and Primary Rate Interface (PRI) phone services through CenturyLink/Lumen with Webex Calling and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) phone service through Cisco. WebEx Calling offers the flexibility and features we need that are not available from Call Manager without the purchase of additional software and upgrades to our current server platform. The annual cost of moving to WebEx Calling and Cisco SIP phone service is $50,700. This amount is based on the current number of phone accounts and may increase as additional employees are added (approximately $124 per user/yr). To implement the project, an additional $7,500 is required for installation and consulting to be paid to Cache Valley Electric (CVE). The current Cisco Call Manager system has been in use over 15 years. Staff recommends approval.
