- ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR 3100 N 2700 W STORM DRAIN REALIGNMENT Sealed Bids for the construction of the 3100 N 2700 W STORM DRAIN REALIGNMENT will be received by Farr West City, at the office of the City Engineer, 6080 Fashion Point Drive, South Ogden, UT, until 2:00 p.m. local time on September 20, 2023, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of installing 833 lf of 48' RCP, a headwall and grated flared end, multiple manholes, multiple catch basins, an 8' non-pressurized irrigation line, and landscape restoration and is located generally at 3100 N 2700 W Farr West City. The project has an Engineer's Estimate of $559,155. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. All documents listed in paragraph 7.01 of the Bid Form must be submitted. A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 p.m. local time on September 13, 2023 at the project site (3100 N 2700 W Farr West City, Utah). Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged, but not mandatory. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Jones & Associates Consulting Engineers, 6080 Fashion Point Drive, South Ogden, Utah, (801) 476-9767. Questions related to the Bidding Documents are to be submitted in writing to Karter Isaacson, karter@jonescivil.com no later than 12:00 p.m. on September 18, 2023. Bidding Documents may be viewed and purchased online at www.jonescivil.com. Following registration and payment of $20.00, complete sets of Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the Issuing Office's website as portable document format (PDF) files. Upon request, a printed copy of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office for $40 per copy. Costs related to obtaining Bidding Documents are non-refundable. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality in a Bid, and to make awards in the best interests of the Owner.
