1. August 8, 2023 Town Council Meeting
E. REPORTS / PUBLIC INPUT ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS. Public input is limited to three (3) minutes on non-agenda items.
F. AGENDA ITEMS:
1. ZONE AMENDMENT FOR LOTS 3 & 13 IN THE SKI HAVEN CHALETS SUBDIVISION FROM R1 TO R3. Lester Ross, Building and Planning Official. The Council will consider an ordinance amending the Zone District Map for lots 3 & 13 in the Ski Haven Chalets Subdivision from Single-Family Residential to Multi-Family Residential.
2. SNOWSHOE/TOBOGGAN SPECIAL ASSESSMENT AREA PUBLIC HEARING. Shane Williamson, Town Treasurer. The Council will hold a public hearing for the Snowshoe/Toboggan Special Assessment Area.
3. FISCAL YEAR 2023 SURPLUS DISCUSSION. Shane Williamson, Town Treasurer. The Council will hold a discussion on allocation of the General Fund surplus from FY 2023.
4. WATER & SEWER CAPITAL FACILITIES PLAN ADOTPION. Aldo Biasi, Public Works Director. The Council will consider an ordinance adopting the Capital Facilities Plan for Water & Sewer.
5. WATER INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT FUNDING, PROJECT SCHEDULING. Aldo Biasi, Public Works Director. The Council will give direction on a project construction schedule from the Capital Facilities Plan.
6. A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING AND AUTHORIZING NOT MORE THAN $5,490,000 TAXABLE WATER REVENUE BONDS, TO FINANCE WATER SYSTEM IMPORVEMENTS; PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION OF A NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND BONDS TO BE ISSUED; FIXING THE MAXIMUM AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT, MATURITY INTEREST RATE AND DISCOUNT OF THE BONDS; PROVIDING FOR THE RUNNING OF A CONTEST PERIOD; AND RELATED MATTERS. Shane Williamson, Town Treasurer. The Council will consider a resolution for the issuance of bonds to finance water system improvements.
7. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS. The Council will discuss potential items for future agendas.
