PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, Mt. Pleasant City Planning Commission will hold five (5) public hearings starting at the hour of 12:00 p.m. in the Mt. Pleasant City Hall, 115 West Main, Mt. Pleasant, Utah, for the purpose of receiving public comment as follows: 1. The Mt. Pleasant City Planning Commission shall hold a public hearing to consider a zoning change request by Quinnton Shepherd for the property located at approximately 840 East 200 South Mt. Pleasant Utah. It is being proposed to change the zoning from Multiple Residential to Residential Agricultural for all property in the area outside of the Aspen Village Subdivision. The public hearing will be held Tuesday, Sept 19, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. in the Mt. Pleasant City Council Chambers at 115 West Main St, Mt. Pleasant, Utah. 2. The Mt. Pleasant City Planning Commission shall hold a public hearing to consider a zoning change request by Brett Cisco for the properties located on the east side of block 92. This block goes from State street to 100 East, and 400 North to 500 North. It is being proposed to have the entire block zoned Modified Commercial. The public hearing will be held Tuesday, Sept 19, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. in the Mt. Pleasant City Council Chambers at 115 West Main St, Mt. Pleasant, Utah. 3. The Mt. Pleasant City Planning Commission shall hold a public hearing to consider a zoning change request by Jeff Jorgensen for the properties located at East State street to Mid block of 100 East on 500 North Mt. Pleasant Utah consisting of 1.34 acres. It is being proposed to change the zoning from mid point block from Residential Agriculture to Modified Commercial. The public hearing will be held Tuesday, Sept 19, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. in the Mt. Pleasant City Council Chambers at 115 West Main St, Mt. Pleasant, Utah. 4. The Mt. Pleasant City Planning Commission shall hold a public hearing to consider a zoning change request for the property located at approximately 850 South Highway 89 Mt. Pleasant Utah (Tax Id 16687x) consisting of 3.31 acres. It is being proposed to change the zoning from Residential Agriculture to Modified Commercial. The public hearing will be held Tuesday, Sept 19, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. in the Mt. Pleasant City Council Chambers at 115 West Main St, Mt. Pleasant, Utah. 5. The Mt. Pleasant City Planning Commission shall hold a public hearing to consider a zoning change request for the property located at approximately 950 South Highway 89 Mt. Pleasant Utah (Tax Id 16686x29) consisting of 1.6 acres. It is being proposed to change the zoning from Residential Agriculture to Modified Commercial. The public hearing will be held Tuesday, Sept 19, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. in the Mt. Pleasant City Council Chambers at 115 West Main St, Mt. Pleasant, Utah. All members of the public are invited to attend and participate.
