PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF CANDIDATE DISQUALIFICATION Utah Code Section 10-3-208 requires candidates to file campaign finance disclosures, the first of which was due by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Additionally, the Code requires a 24-hour grace period. If a candidate fails to timely file their campaign finance statement on or before the deadline or within the 24-hour grace period, the candidate shall be disqualified. The grace period expired at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. The following candidates did not submit a campaign finance disclosure before the deadline or within the grace period and are therefore disqualified: Fabian Ortiz Marilyn Rigby As the ballots have already been mailed out, their names could not be removed from the ballot. Any votes cast for these candidates will not be counted.
