The Beaver County Special Service District No. 1 is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. The Beaver County Special Service District No. 1 tax on a $260,000 residence would increase from $46.90 to $57.20, which is $10.30 per year. The Beaver County Special Service District No. 1 tax on a $260,000 business would increase from $85.28 to $104.00, which is $18.72 per year. If the proposed budget is approved, Beaver County Special Service District No. 1 would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 22.04% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase Monday, September 18, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in the Beaver Fire Station #2 located at 1105 N.
