Opening Motions Excused: Motion to begin meeting: Second: Motion to approve June meeting minutes: Second: Monthly Subcommittee Check-in Reports 1. Conduct subcommittee monthly check-in reports from subcommittee heads: Preservation (Chris Schow) Update on the Old Town Hall restoration project (Laurel) Archives (Jeanne) No updates Community Outreach (Denise Trickler) - Talk about lessons learned from the July 31 Historic Home Walking Tour - Present plans for August 28 walking tour of Locust Avenue homes History & Publications (Laurel Cunningham) Publications currently in process: (Laurel) - Walking tour booklet for August homes tour of Locust Avenue (goes to print August 22) - September historic homeowners' newsletter (mails out September 4) Other Business Items 1. Conduct a mid-year review of our project list. 2. Discuss a draft copy of our FY 2023-2024 budget. If no alterations, vote to approve. 3. Discuss our Heritage Festival plans (book sales, table display, butter churning, and history bus tour). 4. FYI dates to calendar: - Thursday, August 28, Locust Avenue Walking Tour, 6:30 PM - Monday, September 11: Heritage Festival Adjourn PGHPC meeting and reconvene with Stacy Martineau to discuss Heritage Festival Next PGHPC meeting: Thursday, September 21, 7 PM
