- FERRON CITY PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that due to the recent resignation of Mayor Adele Justice, a vacancy will occur in the Ferron City Council. A vacancy in a mayor or council office is filled by appointment of the City Council. The appointment is until January 2026. This vacancy will be filled during the Council Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in the Ferron City Hall located at 20 East Main Street, Ferron, Utah. Anyone interested in applying for the position of Mayor must submit a letter of intent to City Hall during regular business hours on or before August 16, 2023 no later than 4:00 p.m. The person appointed to fill the vacancy must be a registered voter residing within the municipality. I, the undersigned duly appointed Recorder of Ferron City, hereby certify that the foregoing public notice was posted at the Ferron City Hall, Ferron Post Office, Deseret Federal Credit Union and on the internet at www.ferroncity.org, and the Utah Public Meeting Notice Website on this 2nd of August 2023.
