- Public Notice Invitation to Submit Proposals: The City of South Salt Lake will accept Proposals for the project titled: 2023 Fun Bus Services, until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. Proposals received after 3:00 p.m. will not be opened. The scope of work for this contract includes transportation services along a fixed route within South Salt Lake with five stops: Grid City Beer Works, Commonwealth Room, Salt Fire Brewing, Chappel Brewing, and Level Crossing Brewing. Proposals are required to provide two (2) 14 passenger cutaway busses weekend afternoons from August 25th - October 8, 2023. A detailed schedule is included in the RFP. All required documents for the request for proposals process shall be directly submitted to South Salt Lake City Recorder's office via email to Ariel Andrus at: aandrus@sslc.gov or via SciQuest, until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. Written questions can be submitted to the Community and Economic Development Director, Jonathan Weidenhamer at jweidenhamer@sslc.gov and copied to Kerryn Talbot at ktalbot@sslc.gov before 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 4, 2023. Responses to written questions will be posted on SciQuest by 5:00 p.m. on August 7, 2023. Proposals will be opened 3:01 p.m. MST on August 8, 2023. The City of South Salt Lake reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to waive any informality or technicality in any proposal if deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
