- Public Notice Request for Qualifications: The City of South Salt Lake is seeking a highly qualified and licensed civil engineering firm for Subdivision Plat and Engineering Plan Review. Qualified firms are requested to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to provide these services and fee schedule to provide the engineering services outlined in the Request for Qualifications (RFQ). The firm will work closely with the City Engineer, Community Development Director, and other City engineering and planning staff. SOQs will be accepted from various firms in order to conduct a fair and extensive evaluation. Complete and timely submittal of all required documents listed in the RFQ is required for the SOQ to be considered. The City of South Salt Lake will accept SOQs for the project until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 9th, 2023. SOQs received after 2:00 p.m. will not be considered. All submissions must be made through the Utah Procurement Place website (SciQuest). The Request for Qualifications can be obtained from SciQuest or the Engineer, Chris Merket at cmerket@sslc.gov after 9 a.m. on July 25th, 2023. The winning consultant will be notified by 5 p.m. on August 17th, 2023. The City of South Salt Lake reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to waive any informality or technicality in any proposals if deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
