PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON MR. KIM ERIC ACTON AND MS. IDA ELIZABTH ACTON PETITION TO DISCONNECT FROM THE TOWN OF BLUFF pursuant to Section 10-2-501, Utah Code Ann.
Notice is hereby given that the Town of Bluff will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 15 at 6:00 p.m. at the Bluff Community Center, 190 North 3rd East, Bluff, Utah 84512 to accept written or oral comments and questions and to elicit community input on the Actons' Petition to Dis-connect 9,514 acres from the Town of Bluff. The land at issue includes the Actons' 640 acres of private land, located on Section 16, T 40S, R 22E, SLM, County of San Juan, State of Utah. Additionally, approximately 8,874 acres of State (Utah School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration), Federal (Bureau of Land Management), and private lands (including St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in Navajoland) located adjacent to the Acton property in the northeastern section of the Town of Bluff incorporated boundaries has been named in the petition to disconnect.
