Description/Agenda: Richfield City is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. Richfield City tax on a $320,000 residence would increase from $243.94 to $308.18, which is $64.24 per year. Richfield City tax on a $320,000 business would increase from $443.52 to $560.32 per year. If the proposed budget is approved, Richfield Cit would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 26.30% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue, excluding eligible new growth. All concerned Citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase. The public hearing will be held on August 8, 2023, at 7:00 pm in the Council Room of the Richfield City office, 75 East Center, Richfield, UT. To obtain more information regarding the tax increase, citizens may contact Richfield City at 896-6439.
