- The following meeting has been POSTPONED to a later date: SALT LAKE CITY PLANNING DIVISION APPEALS HEARING AMENDED AGENDA Thursday, July 20, 2023, at 5:00 pm This meeting will not have an anchor location at the City and County Building. Appeals Hearing Officer, Staff, and Appellant will connect remotely. POSTPONED Variance Request to allow a 6' fence in the front yard of a single-family dwelling at approximately 700 N DeSoto Street - Steve and Sandy Liebfried, the property owners, are requesting a variance for the above listed property, to allow a 6' fence and a 6' gate in the front yard where both are limited to 4' in height. The property is zoned R-2 (Single and Two-Family Residential) and located in Council District 3, represented by Chris Wharton. The Appeals Hearing Officer reserves the right to change the order of agenda items as deemed necessary.
