- Public Notice Request for Public Comments for the Uintah Basin Economic Development District 2023-2028 Draft of the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy. The Uintah Basin Economic Development District (UBEDD) has published a draft of the 2023-2028 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for the Uintah Basin region which includes Daggett, Duchesne and Uintah Counties. The CEDS has been prepared pursuant to planning and designation requirements under the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA). The CEDS is also requires in order to qualify for financial assistance under EDA's Public Works and Economic Adjustment proframs and most planning programs. The thirty (30) day review and comment period begins July 19th, 2023 and exends through August 18th, 2023. The draft CEDS is available for review via the Uintah Basin Association of Governments (UBAOG) building at 330 E 100 S, Roosevelt, Utah 84066 and can be found virtually at https://arcg.is/11j9e42 Comments can be made in person at the UBAOG office, by mail, attention Kevin Yack, at the UBAOG office or by email at at keviny@ubaog.org or laurieb@ubaog.org , or by phone at 435-722-4518 or The Uintah Basin Associaction of Governments official Facebook page.
