Richmond City is proposing to increase it property tax revenue.
The Richmond City tax on a $458,000 residence would increase from $270.54 to $279.61, which is $9.07 per year.
The Richmond City tax on a $458,000 business would increase from $491.89 to $508.38, which is $16.49 per year.
If the proposed budget is approved, Richmond City would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 3.34% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth.
All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
