4. Discussion with Vince Olague, Jr. about a Zoning Clearance for a power line to be installed by Rocky Mountain Power to an existing trailer to be used as a tool shed on the Olague property. Trailer was originally placed to house business workers, but was never used for that purpose. Rocky Mountain Power requires a Zoning Clearance before providing service. Trailer will not be used as a residence.
Motion to Approve- Judy Downs
Second- April Hansen
Motion Carried
Discussion separate from the Zoning Clearance with Mr. Olague were some of the conditions that needed to be met before the Olague 'Event Center' could re-open for business. Hopefully these requirements can be in place so that a Business License can be issued at the next P&Z Meeting.
In addition, Amalga Planning and Zoning received a courtesy letter from Anderson, Fife, and Marshall, LC, attorney firm representing Mike Jorgensen, trustee of the Keith Jorgensen Trust. This letter stated the position of the Jorgensen trust in regards to a parcel of property they own on which the West Cache Irrigation Company has a canal. In order to access the property the canal has to be crossed. Amalga Town has no interest in this specific issue. The town's only issue would be that any lots improved on would have to comply with Amalga Zoning.
