PUBLIC NOTICE The La Verkin City Council have requested and shall hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at 6:00 p.m., in the La Verkin City Offices, 111 South Main Street, La Verkin, Utah, during its regularly scheduled Council meeting, to receive public input on the following matter: An ordinance revising Ord. No. 2017-09 (which established, revised, and increased the Salary Schedules for the City's non-elective non-statutory officers and employees) to include, provide for, and establish the Salary Schedule for a new director-level position in the City, to be known as the City Recreation and Events Director, as permitted by and in accordance with the provisions of Section 10-3-818, Utah Code Annotated (1953, as amended). Copies of the proposed Salary Schedule are available, upon request, in the Office of the City Recorder, at the City Offices (435 North Main Street, La Verkin, Utah). Any person or group wishing to submit written comments regarding the above-referenced item may do so prior to noon, July 5, 2023. Written comments should be directed to Christy Ballard, City Recorder, at the City Offices (above address). All interested people shall be given an opportunity to be heard at said public hearings.
