Separate sealed bids for construction of Mt. Pleasant City Aspen Village Roadway Improvements 2023 will be
received by Mt. Pleasant City from bidders.
Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 PM on July 20, 2023 at 106 West Main, Mount Pleasant, Utah 84647.
The work to be performed under this project shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment required to construct the facilities and features called for by the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS and as shown on the DRAWINGS.
This project involves installation of dry wells, removing and replacing 2 sections of gutter, and replacing one concrete cross gutter. Pulverizing, grading, compacting existing roadway surface and applying a double chip seal surface.
This project is funded by Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) .
Plans and specifications have been prepared by Sunrise Engineering, Inc. and will be available after June 19th, 2023 on their website plan room at http://www.sunrise-eng.com. Click on 'Plan Room' at the bottom of the homepage. Bidders must register and sign-in and choose to become a plan holder to obtain access to CONTRACT DOCUMENTS and DRAWINGS. Notices regarding changes/amendments to the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS and DRAWINGS will be sent to the e-mail address associated with the bidder's registration. Bidders are responsible to maintain current and correct contact information and check the planroom often to receive updates or additional documents/changes/amendments. The ENGINEER for this Contract will be Sunrise Engineering, Incorporated and they will be represented by Mario Gonzalez , P.E. as Project Engineer.
A pre-bid tour will be held on July 6th 2023, at 10:00 AM, leaving from the office of the Owner at 106 West Main,
Mount Pleasant, Utah 84647 . Attendance at the pre-bid tour is not required, but highly recommended.
Names of those in attendance will be recorded.
The last day to submit questions about the BID, CONTRACT DOCUMENTS and DRAWINGS will be July 18th 2023 at 12: PM An addendum may be published thereafter to make clarifications to the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS and DRAWINGS as required.
This project is funded through a Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). The contractor will be required to comply with all federal labor standards and attendance laws, including the payment of the most current Davis-Bacon wages and compliance with Section 3 to provide employment for lower income persons. Local, minority and woman-owned business owners are encouraged to bid. The lowest responsive responsible bidder will be selected.
