- CLEVELAND TOWN PUBLIC NOTICE Cleveland Town has two vacant city council positions due to the recent resignations of Robert Thomas (effective June 10, 2023) and Brydi Sharp (effective June 30, 2023). Pursuant to Utah Code Ann. ¶ 20A-1-510, within 30 days of each resignation, the city council must appoint a registered voter who resides in the municipality and is qualified to fill the unexpired term of each vacated office. The two terms end December 31, 2023. If you are interested, please submit your written application for consideration to Cleveland Town Clerk/Recorder Nancy Livingston no later than Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. Email: clevelandtown@etv.org; In person: 130 W Main, Cleveland; Mail: PO Box 325, Cleveland, UT 84518; Phone: 435-653-2310 for information. The city council shall meet in an open meeting on July 11, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., at the Town Hall, 130 W Main to interview each individual whose name is submitted and who meets the qualifications for office under Utah Code Ann. ¶10-3-301.
